NIJL Aircraft Docking, www.aircraftdocking.com, engineers, produces and install the aircraft maintenance dock for the world biggest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380.
The docking system is for Lufthansa Technik in Frankfurt, Germany.
Lufthansa Technik is bringing maintenance costs for the Airbus A380 significant down with the system from NIJL Aircraft Docking B.V.
The systems height is 28 meters and has an elevator to the highest floor on 24 meters. The free span above the wing is 35 meters. The total system contains 120 sliding platforms to follow the contours of the aircraft.
